Ditto is an app for agreeing on names with a partner or a small group. This page says what we store, who else handles it, and how to delete it.
Who we are
Ditto is made by Crowcore Labs LLC. For anything about your data, write to privacy@dittomatch.app.
What we collect
Your account. Your email address; how you sign in, which is either a password we store only as a hash, or a Google or Apple sign-in that gives us your email and name; a display name if you set one; and, on password accounts, the secret for your authenticator app.
What you do in the app. The rooms you create or join, your swipes (which names you liked or passed, and when), the matches your room reaches, your filters and where you are in the catalogue, and your email preferences.
What we don't collect
Ditto has no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and doesn't ask for your location, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone. We don't sell your data. This website sets no cookies.
What your room can see
Other members of a room see its title, who is in it, and their display names. When you like a name, the others in that room see it with your name on it. Names you pass on aren't shown to anyone. A match shows which members liked it. Anyone with a room's invite code can join it; the room's creator can replace the code and remove members.
Who else handles your data
These providers process data on our instructions, not for purposes of their own.

Ditto doesn't currently use any AI service. If that changes, it will appear in this table.
We email you to confirm your address and reset your password, and, if you've left it on, about names waiting for your vote in a room. Every room email has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn room email off in the app. We don't send marketing email.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and its data until you delete it. In the app, go to Account → Delete account. It's immediate, and it removes your account, your room memberships, all of your swipes, and any room you were the last member of. Matches in rooms other people are still in stay, because they are the room's decisions as much as yours; email us if you want one removed. You can also email us for a copy of your data or to correct it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete, or export your data. Email privacy@dittomatch.app and we'll take care of it. Our providers are in the United States, so that's where your data is processed. If you're in the UK or EU, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored as hashes, and a room's data can only be read by its members. If you find a security problem, please email us before publishing it.
Children
Ditto is for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
When this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email if the change affects what we collect or who receives it.
